Mike Kelly needs to rethink his slogan ... ?

On the telly just then, Mike Kelly’s slogan:

“Keep Kelly Working”.

I think it’s a shocker – as though the objective of your local member is to stay in work his or herself! Sense of entitlement much?

I read it as Keep Kelly Working for you – but I am kind and lovable.

On a serious note, I do hate the sloganeering – moving forward is a no brainer but slogans are not new they are just getting dumber – or maybe we are getting more jaded in the information cyberspace age.

Following on from Mr Evil what about “Working Australians Going Forward with Mike on a Big New Tax”.

Swinging voters are not to be chastised without them we would still be stuck with Work Choices. These days there is not much to separate the two major parties so ideologically speaking a swinging voter shows more care and concern than those who blindly vote for their team on tradition without much thought to the big picture.

“Bogan swinging voters”. BundahBoy, your based your “argument” on some huge assumptions! My friends have called me plenty of nasty names, but I am not sure I have ever been called a “bogan”. Not sure whether to thank you or not? Secondly, you have no idea whether I even vote at all and if I do, whom I vote for, or whether I am a “swinging voter” or not. Why would you describe a “swinging voter”, someone by definition who assesses all parties and policies before casting their vote, rather than voting blindly for a party, as a “bogan”. As I tried to point out to you, but obviously failed, Eden-Monaro is the bell-weather seat of every election. Rather than sinking to childish branding of other bloggers and describing one of the most representative seats in the country as “hick”, grow up, learn your facts about the candidates and try to debate properly rather than resorting to ad hominem arguments. I am happy to debate and be proved wrong, but please play the ball and not the man.

Ah Bundahboy. Of the 150 divisions, all eyes, I suspect, will be on Eden-Monaro in the party headquarters when 21 August comes around. I would hardly call it a hick seat.
