Miodrog Gajic named as Phillip homicide victim

ACT Policing Criminal Investigations detectives continue to investigate the homicide of a man who was found inside his Phillip apartment on Wednesday afternoon (January 1, 2014).

A post-mortem conducted today (Friday, January 3) has confirmed the man died as a result of serious head injuries.

The deceased has been formally identified as Miodrog Gajic, aged 71.

Police wish to speak to any member of the public who may have information regarding this matter, and request anyone able to provide assistance to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Spelling it MiodrAg Gajic finds other hits on Trove, and Google (though it’s a fairy common name), including reports on this homicide. So perhaps there is an alternative spelling.
