ACT Policing holds grave fears for the safety and wellbeing of a 43-year-old Macquarie woman missing since 8pm last night (Friday, 4 February).

The woman left her residence on foot wearing, sneakers, light beige shorts, a ripped singlet and was carrying a black backpack.

She is described as 185cm tall, having a lean muscular build, tanned complexion, brown eyes and short brown hair.

It is believed she may be in the Mt Painter, Stromlo, Black Mountain or Coppins Crossing areas.

Anyone who may have seen the woman is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131-444.

Police don’t provide staged detail releases in cases of missing persons in order to avoid any embarrassement that would be caused by the wider community knowing more than they need to, to render assistance.
As such, the police provided fantastic support to the people concerned in this incident and I can’t speak highly enough of them.

From the description it sounds like they were looking for Lara Croft…

Found safe I understand.

Any update on this?

If police are looking for someone like this why on earth don’t they provide the person’s name ??
