ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a collision in Hume which occurred on Saturday (February 9).
About 1.30pm a white Mitsubishi Triton utility towing a horse float was traveling south on the Monaro Highway, near Sheppard Street. Around this time the utility collided with the rear of a ‘Windscreens O’Brien’ Toyota HiAce van, causing it to roll several times.
The driver of the Triton left the area without providing details to the other driver. The driver of the van suffered minor injuries.
Police are urging anyone who saw the collision, or saw the vehicles in the lead-up to the incident to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
