This is how it exactly is just across from CIT Reid in the dirt/gravel car park. Every time I go past the disabled area, its just full of cars without permits (presumably not disable drivers).

I love this section of riotact, but I can’t bring myself to post bad parking photos anymore. Taking photos of bad parking in Canberra is like shooting fish in a barrel.

But you all should keep taking photos of bad parking in the hope that one day the righteous Professor Avenarius will take the wind out of their sails.

#8 – That’s dumb logic, following convention only applies if it’s busy? That said, I would argue the vehicle in that image looks longer than the car spaces, and so the driver may have thought it better to take up two spaces diagonally than leave his vehicle sticking out into the isle.

#11b says more about the parking space than the parking. If parked properly the driver of the car beside probably wouldn’t be able to get into their car. Those spaces are on the narrow side.

re: 4 – yes, what if it was a disabled person who left the trolley there? It may have been hard for them to return it, especially if it helped them walk.
