Poster bollards

The Department of Territory And Municipal Services (TAMS) have announced they’ll be putting up more “bill poster silos” around town:

New bill poster silos are being installed at shopping centres and other locations across Canberra in 2010. The silos will provide a legal site for poster advertisements and community notices, and can be freely used by everyone.

New silos will be installed at:

— Emu Bank Foreshore
— Jamison Centre
— Hawker Shops
— Gungahlin Town Centre
— Kippax shopping Centre (Holt)
— Charnwood Shops
— Florey Shops
— Yerrabi Ponds Skate Park
— Lyneham Shops
— Dickson Shopping Centre (two silos)
— City Centre
— Manuka Shops
— Kingston Shops
— Woden Town Square
— Tuggeranong Town Centre
— Cooleman Court Shopping Centre (Weston Creek)
— Southlands Shopping Centre (Mawson)
— Kambah Shops

Midnight poster runs through Charnwood and Kambah, oh goody.

Let it not be said that this city doesn’t have big steel bollards.
