Last week we noted that the Kambah draft master plan had an unusually short consultation period on it.
Today Simon Corbell has relented and extended the consultation.
The Minister for Environment and Sustainable Development, Simon Corbell, said the four week extension is a result of feedback from the community calling for more time to comment.
“The draft master plan is intended to guide development and redevelopment of the Kambah group centre over the next 20 to 30 years so I think it is appropriate the community and industry have sufficient time to digest and comment on the ideas in the document.”
Comments now close on 14 October.
