Looking for advice please.

Mrs Lyons75’s father wants to visit, unfortunately he is quite unwell and needs a fair bit of care.

Does anyone know of a hotel (prefer southside) that has not only a disabled room, but a lifter to assist him to get in and out of bed?

thanks all…

Went through this recently. The hotel behind tradies at Woden has such rooms, but they are quite popular since the NDIS agency opened next door. We ended up using the Mercure @ Ainslie and were very happy. You will need to supply your own hoist though.

I know that the Realm attracts many guests with disabilities, however, you will have to check if is suits the particular needs of this person.

Can’t help identify a hotel unfortunately, however if they don’t have hoists (and it would surprise me if they did), you could always enquire with Mobility Matters for Hire (including delivery to the hotel).
