Are you aware of motorcycles?

If not look them up.

Now that we’re all on the same page, we’ve got a whole week worth of things to do starting this Sunday with Biker Fest at EPIC, followed by a presentation by international road racing champion Cameron Donald on the 16th at Southern Cross Club, and finishing with a Pink Ribbon Ride on the 20th from Old Parliament House to Bungendore to raise money for breast cancer.

Clik the links to see fliers for the events mentioned above, or just head to http://mraact.org.au/ to read up on what’s going on.

By far the most exciting part of Motorcycle Awareness Week (at least for me) is the manhunt they have staged.

Joe Rider

HUNT JOE RIDER!

Who is Joe Rider? What did he do to deserve being hunted? Is he running from a crime he didn’t commit?

Doesn’t matter!

Get him guys! Go get Joe Rider!

A want a Rioter to bag this guy, be sure to send us photos.

I run whores from my 250cc Honda. Only the skinny ones though, If a fat one gets on my bike it won’t go up hills.

No wonder all the bearded bikies in leather jackets on harley’s all nod their head at me on my Vespa 250GTS. Although up hills with me is fine, i suspect the more buxom ones would slow me down also!

Not exactly the best time to be holding such an event with the current media focus on the activities of bikies on the Gold Coast. Cue the two-wheeled brigade’s stock-standard speech about the difference between bikies and bikers…

Yes, because everyone who rides a motorbike is a criminal. I ran a drugs ring from my 250cc Suzuki.

Doing it from a motorbike gives you a bit of legal distance if you get caught,If you had have done it from the back of a pushy then you could have been charged with peddling drugs.

Perhaps that makes it the exact right time for the biking community to run a family friendly festival that raises money for charity?

Not sure is serious or just stupid.

Perhaps the knob weaving around on Commonwealth Ave city bound this morning might like to pay attention to these festivities.

Just as well I did the usual mirror checks before changing lanes else the douchebag who switched from my right hand shoulder to left side to undertake within a few metres of the back of my car might have been eating asphalt for breakfast.
