Motorcycle raffle in aid of Multiple Sclerosis Aust (ACT)

The Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club – Federal chapter are raffling a new 2010 Honda VT1300cx factory built chopper. The prize includes 12 months ACT rego and all on road costs.

The raffle is approved by ACT Racing and Gaming permit ACT R10/00035.1.

Details of the raffle and ticket purchase options are on the club website: www.vvmcfederal.com.au or available directly from club members (if you know any). As of 15 March tickets will be available from the Canberra Motorcyle Centre (both stores) and from the Multiple Sclerosis ACT office at 117 Dennison Street, Deakin.

Tickets are $10 each and the raffle runs until 31 August 2010. The raffle is in aid of Multiple Sclerosis Australia (ACT). MS affects a large number of people in Australia including many in the ACT community.

Slightly off-topic but I’ve been involved in weight training and bodybuilding for over 30 years, on and off. At least two guys I trained with in years gone by now suffer from MS. Does weight training cause MS? Is there a connection? I don’t have it yet but I’m starting to get worried.
