TAMS have advised they’re closing Mount Ainslie Drive, at the intersection with Fairbairn Avenue, in Campbell from 14.30 to 20.30 today to facilitate a movie shoot.

They advise they thing it’s going to be Galore:

It’s a long, hot summer before the final year of school and Billie and Laura, two raucous, impulsive teenage girls who live in the outskirts of Canberra, share every secret. That is, except, for Billie’s biggest secret… that she’s crazy in love and sleeping with Laura’s boyfriend, Danny.

When Billie’s mother takes Isaac – a hardened kid trying to escape his past – into her care, the delicate balance of their lives is disrupted. Billie, promiscuous and unpredictable, seems hell-bent on self-destruction with Danny and anyone else who will take her, while Laura finds herself drawn to the intense and tender Isaac.

Living life like a song, these four teenagers search out the beauty and intensity in their suburban lives, until, late one night, their lives collide and they are thrown headlong into a world of grief and heartbreak.

Looking forward to it.

Look out Sir Peter – Galore will knock your Hobbits for a six!

Hobbit cricket. Perhaps the South Africans have little experience in that noble game.

Ironically, there’s shooting galore there all the time at the pistol range, and the road has never been closed. 🙂

This particular form of shooting doesn’t discriminate its targets, so it is dangerous in a way… if you have something to hide.

Could I get Billie’s number?

Bugger.

Who else read the word ‘shoot’ and expected the vegans to be in here throwing tofu around in a fit of rage over a roo cull?

Closer each dayyyy, home and awayyyy.
