Mount Ainslie emergency

ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics are treating a 31-year-old male bushwalker for facial injuries on Mt Ainslie Drive, Ainslie.

Crews have reached the patient near the top of the lookout and will shortly transport the male to The Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.

Time of Emergency Triple Zero (000) call 10.44am.

Hope he recovers. On a side note (and noting that this does not necessarily apply to the unfortunate young man in question), only this morning I was overtaken by several runners during my trek down Mt Ainslie, all seemingly oblivious of the fact that the rain had made the track just that extra bit slippery.
