Chief Minister Stanhope is having a busy day and has announced that he’s sick of the Liberals blocking the appointment of an independent reviewer of Government agency ad campaigns.
To be fair to Mr Stanhope the proposed reviewers, Derek Volker and Chrispin Hull, are the sort of respectable community figures that it’s hard to imagine an objection to. (And we’re yet to see an explanation of the Liberal objection)
In any event Mr Stanhope is moving to be able to appoint the reviewer with a simple majority of the Legislative Assembly.
