A Harrison residence was sprayed with bullets late last night (21 March) and police are investigating whether the shooting was gang-related.

Police said that while no one was hurt in the incident the occupants of the Wannon Lane residence were home when multiple shots were fired into the property and a vehicle outside about 11.20 pm.

A crime scene was established and forensic officers examined the area.

ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations team is investigating the incident with the assistance of Taskforce Nemesis to establish any involvement of criminal gangs.

The shooting comes after a man was shot in Chifley on Monday in what police called a brazen, bikie-related attack. A block of units in Maclaurin Crescent and vehicles in the area were also damaged by gunfire.

Police urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity in Harrison around 11 pm last night, or who may have any information or CCTV that could assist police, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via their website.
