NAIDOC stands for National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee. But today Naidoc Week is “a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and an opportunity to recognise the contributions of Indigenous Australians in various fields.”

And it’s next week.
