Over the last few years there has been discussion on The RiotACT of people not realising that early bird ticketing finished and then lamenting the fact that they had missed out. The Festival wants to give the audience of this website a little bit of a special deal. Officially the first Early Bird Ticketing period for the Festival finishes today (30 January) but we are keeping internet sales from our website open at the first Early Bird price until 8am on Monday 2 February. The RiotACT is the only forum in which we are advertising this little fact.

Until 8am on Monday via the web an Adult Season Ticket will be $166 (even cheaper for pensioners and children) after then it goes up to, a still reasonably priced, $178. A Season Ticket covers every hour of the Festival and there are over 55 hours of programmed entertainment over the Easter long-weekend.

Featured performers this year include the Hot Club of Cowtown (featuring Elana James who plays in Bob Dylan’s band), The April Verch Band (with a violin playing and step-dancing lead), The Spooky Men’s Chorale (a Festival favourtie) and another 195 acts from across Australia and the world. It is worth stopping by the Festival’s website to see video and listen to some of the acts performing at the Festival, and to purchase your tickets at the Early Bird price. You only have until Monday morning to get the best deal so tell your family and friends too.
