National Library of Australia lecture: Buk bilong Pikinini

Buk bilong Pikinini, meaning ‘books for children’, is an independent not-for-profit organisation based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, which aims to establish children’s libraries and foster a love of reading and learning.

Since 2007, Buk bilong Pikinini has set up 17 children’s libraries across Papua New Guinea with many more to come. Join Anne-Sophie Hermann, founder of Buk bilong Pikinini, to learn more about this brilliant initiative.
