Need at-home aged care?

By absolutehomecare - 19 March 2013 1

Absolute Home Care

“…when our mother passed away we promised our father that we would always care for him and would never put him in a home. Unfortunately our father developed Alzheimers Disease. I moved in with him and my brother would come and stay for a few weeks at a time to give me time away. The nurses from Absolute Home Care came every morning to monitor Dad, to shower him and to make sure he took his medication. Over a period of 9 months his dementia grew worse. He needed constant direction in all his daily needs and this was taking its toll on my own health. On the advice of the Registered Nurse from Absolute Home Care we had the no other option than to look at a dementia specific residential facility. During the wait for a bed Absolute Home Care staff came 3 times a day to be with dad and to attend to all his personal care needs. I can’t
thank them enough for their support….”

The story above is a common one that Absolute Home Care Pty. Ltd. provides support for.

I can vouch for these guys, Helen is a lovely person to deal with. I’d say hang on to that number because good care can be hard to find when you need it!
