Canberra Punk Fest, started at Magpies City Club as a venue in 2013, by Scott Main and Dave Spasm of Canberra Punk Legends Bladder Spasms.

After putting on regular large all day punk events with great turn outs, the lads were moved on. After a 7 month lay off, the boys are back and bigger than ever, Newly upgraded PA and a new venue. The new home of Canberra Punk Fest is the TURNER BOWLS CLUB.

The first show was a few weeks ago, with a killer line up of some of Australia’s and world wide Hard Core acts feat TOE TO TOE (Aust) and legends SLAPSHOT from Boston USA, which was massive, with large vocal crowd.

Next show for the Lads is EVIL BEAVER from the USA with supports from locals Bladder Spasms and No Assumption, with interstate bands Cult Killers and Rude Rahlis and some guest spots sharing the stage.

This event is ALL AGES, DOORS open AT 7pm, $10 at the door.. spread the word people. Punk Fest is back and bigger and better than before. All the gigs are in a separate room to the bar so the underage next generation of music loves can enjoy music, and will be easily noted by different coloured wrist bands and a big black “X” on one hand, which will mean no alcohol, there is an awesome bistro serving great food on site as well.

So get along. Sat 12th April for some ALL AGES PUNK ROCK.
