Hi all,

A new internet service provider is in town- ‘MyRepublic’. They offer internet that is customised to your premises, which, they say, gets you a betters speed.

Any experience with them anyone?

What’s Your opinion?

Only for ADSL or NBN

Think you could almost guarantee it will be NBN. It costs a motza for ISP’s to install their own adsl gear (and with NBN coming no one would do so anyway) and likewise there is no competitive advantage in being a Telstra ADSL wholesale customer either.

Whereas NBN it was setup to allow smaller players a level playing field. And even though I am no fan of the Liebral parties Fraudband NBN at least the back end allows smaller players into the market unlike the current Telstra dominated arrangements where no matter what you have (except transact in their own dedicated cable areas) you cannot help but line the pockets of Telstra investors.
