ACT Policing is seeking to identify two members of the public who came to the assistance of a woman in Mawson on Saturday night (September 8).

Around 7pm on Saturday night, the woman had been the victim of an assault in Mawson. The victim flagged down two members of the public who had been reversing their vehicle out of a driveway.

The victim was driven to the Rivett shops and subsequently reported the assault to police.

Police would like to speak to the two people who assisted the victim, and are urging them to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131-444.

Shame she can’t remember which drive way there were reversing out of.

I’m surprised they didn’t give the victim their name/contact. Or at least accompany her into the police station.
