No need to be shy

C’mon guys, I know change is scary but the new site actually makes it much, much easier to send news in.

No more nasty html tags for basic formatting. Lots of nice buttons to do the tricky formatting for you.

Just click the “submit news” button above, log in, choose “write –> write post” if the correct page hasn’t come up, and have a play.

You just need to fill in the Title and Post fields, click “Save and Continue Editing” button and a preview comes up on the bottom of the page. Hit “Save” and the story goes in a queue for the admins to poke and peer at.

Simple! Go on, have a play. You can always hit “delete” if it goes horribly wrong.

I like it, it kicks ass
simplicity rules….

makes it so much easier to read, plus the boss wont get pissed when he sees a page full of old school looking text, would look like im doing something important 🙂

Bonfire

style over substance?

people bitched and moaned about the looks of both sites.

trust me the tech of the new one is 3 generations ahead of the old (at least)

we do have a program in place to tackle the superficialities.

OK, I tried.. hope I didn’t stuff it up 🙂

its all about looks baby and this site just looks amateur. the old software made it look nicer, crisper.

this is messy and reminds me of a 1980’s BBS.

but on the positive side, the contributors are nice.

Ok. Problem.
I have tried to register, but obviously WordPress is not sending the password to me in a ‘friendly’ way because my email address is bouncing it back. (it does that when an email arrives from a ‘unfriendly address’.)
Guess I’ll have to use a different address…

…and it just looks so huge on my screen!
It’s intimidating!!

My problem is that I just don’t have any news to tell!
