Fellow Rioter’s,

Long time visitor, but first time poster. I’m planning to have a small business/professional services business. Does anyone have any idea where to look for share offices or does anyone know of cheap professional services suite around town?

PS: I have had a look at serviced offices option (too expensive, plus don’t need things like receptionist – at least for the time being)

Do what the rest of us single-shingle professional services folk do: work from your kitchen table and meet clients on their premises or in coffee shops.

I would love to do that, but the problem I have with that is I intend to see quite a large number of clients (less $ per client, but a bigger client base) and I currently live in an apartment (3rd floor) and prefer to avoid any issues with the neighbours/body corporate.

We have some space in Kingston near Green Square set up for co-working and entrepreneurial development. You can call on 61610600 if interested

Not sure of how much space you need or how much of an “occupy twat” you might be but there is “The Milkbar: a co-operative collective” in Kingston? They appear to offer a desk to rent for short term start-up businesses, I think?
