There’s little in this world more dangerous than an enthusiastic idiot.
The Australian brings word of a Turner man who set out trying to call the police and ended up charged himself, after the alleged 60th call.
- The 45-year-old man, from Turner in Canberra’s inner north, had called police yesterday to report the assault of his former partner in Western Australia.
Police officers attended to the call, but the man continued to dial triple-0 more than 60 times even after being warned he could face criminal charges.
Officers eventually tracked the man to his home and caught him while he was still on the phone, police allege.
Perhaps best kept off the streets.
