I was just this afternoon attempting to email an ACT Government employee and imagine my surprise when the email bounced?

Greater was the discovery that my message was oversize and only messages with a maximum 0KB would be accepted.

Must be some quiet days on that desk.

Add that little fiasco to the fact that the ACT Government employs about a third of the number of switchboard operators it would need to answer calls within a few minutes, and you get the picture. Doesn’t give a rat’s.

Usually indicates that the email account is disabled. Setting send and receive max size to 0 is one way to do it.

Its the IT departments way of telling the user to clean their inbox 🙂
