Organic Energy in Griffith are pretty good and they will deliver too if you ask them.

Be careful at the farmers market, there aren’t that many stalls that are actually organic or chemical free. A few good stalls are:

Veg:
Glean meala

there is a potato lady from crookwell

there is a Japanese run farm called kandodai or something.

Fruit:

Loriendale, apples (in season)

Meat:

ando organics

Moorlands biodynamic lamb

greenhill farms

other:

capra cheese (organic goats cheese)

country valley have organic milk

there are a few others, I would ask stall holders if they are certified organic, don’t assume any of them are. Also “organic fertilizer low spray” is an advertising line not anything more.

I’ve been using Wholefood Central http://www.wholefoodcentral.com.au for three years now, recommended by my sister in law with a large family. They deliver to Canberra every Wednesday. I really like the brother/sister team that owns the business – excellent customer service and good quality, organic food. You pay a deliver charge, but I really save in time ordering through them.

Yes the farmers Market at Epic every Saturday Morning Great Organic products straight from the farmers, even meat. Not a co op but great for a morning out opens at 8 am and finishes at 11 am, very good prices too (well the meat is a little expensive but very nice.
