The Age is reporting here that a 19 year-old Canberra man blew .165, whilst having to observe a .02 BAC limit, after wandering through a red light and into another car. Thankfully there were no injuries.

Assume the position my young friend.

[ED – AFP media release re this was out on Friday. It was also in the paper over the weekend.]

Your junki sister should be in jail.

But really, the poor boy is a MAN!

In my day I got drunc once so that I could not see the road between Red Hill and Weston Creek.

(OK just kidding about the MAN bit)

My junkie sister got 18 months suspended licence and a good behaviour bond. She was DUI – alcohol and a few other things.

She hit a parked car – which was occupied by its driver, who was about to pull out.

She got her licence back last month…hence my refusal to drive in the Belconnen area. She is an idiot who should have lost her licence – it was at least her 2nd DUI.

I was wondering when this story would show up on RiotACT – heard it on JJJ news on Friday

I am totally over people being so f’ing blase about drink driving.

Re returning from a visit to a strip club – ha!

The last guy I knew who copped a DUI got a 600 dollar fine, and that was it.

Probably get a slap on the wrist and a case of beer for his trouble. Young colleague of mine just returned to work after seeing her boyfriend get $1000 fine and 18 months suspension of licence in Queanbeyan for 4th DUI in 2 1/2 yrs.

Was he returning from a visit to a strip club?
