The ABC reports that Frank Pangallo’s strange tilt at the Legislative Assembly has picked up an interesting candidate in Molonglo in the form of Phil Thompson.

The former coroner and special magistrate would have a lot to offer any party but has decided to line up with the Mayor of Queanbeyan.

“He says he decided to run alongside outgoing Queanbeyan Mayor Frank Pangallo because he has found him to be an honest and sincere person who wants to make a difference in the ACT.

“There wasn’t anything that he was proposing that I disagree with,” he said.”

Good luck with Pangallo Canberra. We have had him as mayor over here for far too long, Queanbeyan is screaming out for a change and I would say a lot of people will be happy to chuck this character over the border. How he has been in the job he has for as long as he has is beyond me. You would think the basic job requirements would be to be friendly, approachable, and down to earth and he without a shadow of doubt lacks the above.

no, how about we lob him back??

pangallo tennis, anyone?

Am I having a deja vu moment?

In any case JB, why is it a strange decision?

You don’t need to live in Molonglo to run in Molonglo. Zed doesn’t live in Molonglo

Why’s he running in Molonglo when he lives in Belconnen?
