Parking Acton style

parking

This clown was parked in the motorcycle only parking area in Acton. I had to park behind him in the only remaining spot left.

It costs $13 per day in that carpark and he had a valid ticket but still got booked. Why would you park illegally AND buy a ticket as well?

GOOD. I can’t stand people parking in their cars in the motorcycle spots.

What about motorcycles parking in car spots? 😛

Perfectly legal.

Why would you park illegally AND buy a ticket as well?

Because you’re a selfish and self centred knob

Hope you left your steering lock off. After all, it’s a big hulking four wheel drive ….. and if he didn’t go up the kerb when he left, he might have decided your bike was the path of least resistance.

I thought of that and even though he/she was a fellow Land Rover driver, I did take a photo of the number plate as well.

Considering they have chosen to drive one of the worst cars ever built, I’m going to put it down to a simple misunderstanding whereby the driver was completely clueless, saw an empty spot, and just flat out didn’t notice the signs/line markings (don’t laugh, I see it happen all the time. Good responsible people who just suck at some of life’s basic tasks.)

Need I point out the culprit is an SUV?

No you needn’t, I can use the same eyes I used to read your post to see the image and type of vehicle for myself.

Acton for people with more money than sense. I don’t know anyone who would happily and knowingly line up to pay what those cafe’s charge for muesli and coffee.

If only I had a wheel clamp.

Reminds me of Miranda Devine’s idea that Sydney parking should be capped a
t 20 bucks.

This is classic “I’m far too important to find an actual parking space, I can just take 4 riders’ spaces instead”. Need I point out the culprit is an SUV?

I had not noticed nearly so much of this in the past. Is it a new trend in society, or has it always been there, but I’ve just reached an age/stage where people doing crap they just plain shouldn’t catches my eye?
