Parking Civic style. A triple slam!

parking

Konazz has sent in this very special piece of parking:

Spotted this p-plater on Genge St in Civic.
1) parked and unattended in a no parking drop off area (no one came in the 5 minutes I was there)
2) over the parking line
3) parked facing the wrong way

Normally we obscure number plates but this effort really deserves full credit.

Maybe he is getting back in that equally poorly parked blue ute?

There’s something not quite right about this one. It’s almost too dodgy to be just bad parking. Could be wrong but I’d say that car has been stolen & dumped there.

All worthy of having their tyres slashed…

Are we sure the ‘P’ plates dont actually stand for Pitchka, becasue only a Pitchka would park their car like that…

That car was stolen from Reid CIT and dumped there, the owner got it back last night.

Damn lazy junkies can’t even walk a few blocks, but when they need a hit they’ll go to great lengths to get it.

Sigh….

You’re a weirdo.

Well that’s the last time I listen to colleagues….

Actually the picture was taken a few weeks ago… just hadn’t had time to email it to JB

And on what grounds could jb or RA be sued for publishing a photo of a public place taken from a public place?

Extremely frivolous ones I’d imagine.

That said, nutbags have a tendency to congregate in large numbers on the internet. Pissing them off is all fun and games if your online identity isn’t linked to your real identity, but if they actually know who you are, then it becomes pretty risky (IMO).

A little ironic don’t you think, haha.

Maybe a little.

Heh, good thing I don’t know your real identity eh, HC 😀

What i can’t work out is what’s with the windscreen wipers?

Easier to place the parking infringement notice.

Maybe they left the wipers running (wich we couldn’t see in a still pic) in an attempt to stop an inspector putting a notice under them! hahahaha! 🙂

The fascination of blurring out number plates, especially in this context, really puzzles me. What’s the issue?

Generally we just find it makes for a more pleasant existence.

Is it really more deserving than the others, or is it that you’re fairly certain that being a purple Festiva with P plates, it isn’t owned by Mr. Gillespie, or someone else who will sue you/make threats of bodily harm?

I would suggest that the person accidentally put them on as they were parking so beautifully.

Parking wide must be a blue car thing, judging by the ute across the road.

The blue ute in the background doesn’t rate a mention? I’d be fairly confident that it isn’t within the lines either

I really have no fear whatsoever of Mr Gillespie. I’m really not his type.

And no, the make of car really didn’t enter into my thinking.

Nice.
