parking

I first saw this car, near Scrivener Street, on Saturday afternoon with a marked police car and a forensic team in attendance inspecting the damage.

When I went past this afternoon and noticed it was still there I thought it worth snapping a pic for the RiotACT archives.

Ah… I see the problem!

He’s parked a bit too close to that tree just there. See how it’s up against the bumper a bit? You should leave a little room at the front.

What a shame.

Sigh. Another mighty 120Y bites the dust. No many of them left!

Yep, it avoided the dreaded cancer for 40 years only to end up here……..

No obvious skid marks, although it probably came up the gutter and wouldn’t have been touching the ground to leave a skid until after it hit the tree and settled.

Shame, I image immediately before it hit the tree you could have sold it for a fair amount on account of scarcity.

I don’t think that scratch on the bonnet will impact negatively on its its’ value.

Well it wouldn’t have been used in a quick getaway . I rode into town in a Dato 120 Y back in 1979.
Great little bus.

Datsun 120Y,
oh ignoble beast,
left to rot neath a tree,
why oh why o why

Sigh. Another mighty 120Y bites the dust. No many of them left!

It’s nice and parallel to the road.
