Parking Seselja Style

zed parking

We’re still waiting to hear from the Liberals as to why their candidates Zed Seselja and Merinda Nash were nominated as having the same home phone number.

And we’re also still waiting to get any sensible clarification about Liberal marked vehicles parked in disabled spaces.

So it’s nice to come full circle in a way with this picture sent in by one of our countless contributors.

For a party that bangs on so much about law and order and punishing other people for breaking the law they seem to have a lot of trouble with it themselves.

No doubt some Liberal fanboys will go crying to their mums that we’re being mean to their team. To them I say if you get similar pictures about the other side just send them in to us via images@the-riotact.com .

illegal parking is a liberal advertising tactic. it’s cheaper to pay the parking fine than pay for a billboard. libs did the same in the ACT election – they parked cars, trucks and trailers illegally all over the place (not to mention other illegal signage at polling places).

Is this a setup?

Certainly not by me but it’s friday and I’d love to hear some conspiracy theories. I’ll go first:

1) the car is not actually affiliated with that party/candidate, someone has put that on their car and doing bad things to make the candidate look bad
2) the car IS actually affiliated, and was stolen and parked illegally to make the person look bad
3) the car was originally parked legally, but someone went and repainted the parking lot around it and put up parking signs to render the park illegal after the fact
4) it is just a yellow envelope that bears no relationship with parking enforcement
5) the parking officer has a vendetta against the candidate
6) owing to construction activity at the premises, there were special arrangements in place that allowed individuals to park in spaces they would not normally be allowed to park. Nobody told the parking inspector about this.
7) all of the above.

His family car as a nice big shinny bullbar on the front….maybe we might let us all polish it for him and his wife if he wins on Sep 7.

Sorry I will try that again.

Hilarious. I bet Gary Humphries is sitting there in his silk dressing gown having a good chortle, too.

That seems to be all he did when he was still in politics anyway. Nothing he actually did for society – at least Zed is getting out there with a vision.

Inventive interpretations of parking rules by the Liberals is nothing new. Remember seeing a certain past Chief Minister park in a 15 minute zone to go to dinner at a restaurant; over two hours later her car was still parked there. I might add that she was also parked close enough to our driveway that if we needed to go out, it would have been a tight fit.

Was that before or after she fell off a horse at a Pegasus Riding For the Disabled charity event then tried to sue them?

She wasn’t famous for thinking the law applied to her.

But then, neither was a certain ALP police minister who was done for DUI.

What are the chances of that fine actually being processed & paid? I’ll go with 0.00%.

What’s different about this compared to anyone else who parks illegally? Absolutely nothing.. The same standards apply.

All the liberals have the same “home” phone number, not just those 2. Likely to be a switchboard number for the party HQ or similar. I wouldn’t be listing my real home number on there either. Creepy people would post it on here and more creepy people would call it in the middle of the night.

Devil’s Advocate.

Is this a setup?

I’d like to know what the ticket was for. It seems unfair for anyone to comment without knowing.

There’s some time sheets inside the yellow envelope.

Do they give tickets for being a backstabbing Judas?

I award this photo awesome/10.

More concerned about the disabled parking outside the school incident though – not only for the initial offence, but then the disingenuous attempt to cover it up with LIES!

You would think they know the RA parking paparazzi are on the prowl.

That car was parked there on Tuesday evening – almost took a photo because it was slightly over the lines too (well, the cats eyes) but was running a tad late and the phone camera is shit at night.

Perhaps the ticket is for overstaying its welcome in that spot?

This would be lol if it was not so pathetic.

Total dirtbag needs to quit politics altogether.

Breaking the law.

Just seeing Zed’s mug on the bonnet is deserving of a ticket..
