parking in tuggeranong

With thanks to Julian:

I don’t think he was even meant to park there since he’s in the way of the fire hose reel….

Tell you what, parking in these new parking complexes is crap – it’s not the spaces are way too small, but the internal alleys and walls. Trying to park a ’59 Bel Air down there is crap. That’s after you reverse through the enterance so the ticket machine is on the drivers-side….

If you really own such a car you are very lucky indeed. Will swap for ageing Camry, which is easy to park and incredibly bland. So if you forget where you parked (which you do, of course) you have to hold your key up, press, and follow the noise past all the other boring silver Camrys. (Camries?) Now that’s annoying.

I don’t own such a car, but I do drive on on occasion…

Ah that’s what happens when you’ve got the steering wheel on the wrong side!

There appears to be a disabled sticker on the car. I’m guessing that the disabled spot was probably taken by someone who was ‘just going to be five min’. This sort of thing results.

I usually avoid that spot for exactly that reason, it is a tough one to get into. it is a legal parking spot – they haven’t put keep clear lines in, but you have to be really good and have a smaller car to make it work without damaging your paint work.

Maybe, just maybe, he was in a hurry and had no time to reverse, forward, reverse, forward, reverse, forward, to make it perfect.!

every other vehicle in the background was able to park straight.

Also, if you can’t get a standard car into a park after one reverse, then forward again, there is probably something wrong with your driving.

Anyway the lines aren’t crooked. They’re too narrow!!!

God this is silly!!!

What’s the width of the lines got to do with anything? The driver couldn’t see them? God that is silly!!!

If you haven’t got time to drive properly Mr G leave the car at home.

So that was Mr G’s attempt at parking! Does he even have a licence?

He/She is excused they have NSW plates 🙂

Don’t ya bloody hate it when they put the lines in crooked.

Surely that’s just parking, Canberra-style? Haha.
