Tim has sent in this little gem. It seems the Laura Norder tub thumpers have ongoing issues with their parking.

Has anyone else noticed the strange radiance of the flash back from the number plate? Doesn’t look like the usual block job done on numberplates posted here… in fact, it looks strangely like a numberplate sprayed with “anti-flash” spray. Just sayin’…

Saw the same car parked poorly about a month ago in Civic. I was too busy musing on the slogan to think about taking a photo though 🙁

In their defence, it is possible that the car on their right was over the lines when they parked and nobody was on their left. All it takes is one bad park and then the rest of the day various people are shifted off to the side of centre.

True, but when you’re driving a branded car, surely you need to be aware of appearances. Even if they weren’t the first one to park over the line, wouldn’t it just make more sense to find another parking spot rather than appearing to be a moron who can’t park (especially in the world’s smallest car)?

+1

(Btw I’m liking the puns.)

Last time I looked, left and right were in relation to a person sitting in the drivers seat “moving forward”…

Where, exactly, did you look? I wasn’t aware that any authority has issued a directive on this matter…

In the automotive industry, the passenger side is often referred to as the “near side” and the driver’s side as the “off side”, to avoid left/right confusion. But of course that doesn’t work so well for political ideology punnage.

Regardless of any authority, anyone over the age of about three would have a reasonable grasp of the concept of left vs right.
If my political puns make your brain hurt then I’ll make a new years resolution to cease and desist…

Perhaps it was a deliberate strategy to enable the driver the fully open the door so they could get out with ease?

Some people are just bad at reverse parking also and end up way off centre. So that could be it. But wouldn’t you realise you suck at it and just go in forwards instead? Unless it was the only carpark and you noticed it just as you passed and so you reversed in to make sure nobody else stole it haha.

The Law and Order party had scant regard for laws and regulations during the election campaign. Why did people thing things would be any different after it?
One rule for them, one rule for…

I am disgusted that Elections ACT has deemed all of the illegal sign games to be “inconsequential” and will be taking no action. Game on next election then Phil Green, and you will have created the situation.

at least report something decent, like when that libs car with the trailer was in a no parking zone blocking a driveway….

It so is over the lines. If I were a passenger of the red car I’d be pretty pissed about having to squeeze in there.

They say the two major parties are alike these days but I didn’t expect the Libs to have moved that far left…

They haven’t mate they’ve move to the right, albeit backward facing.

Their left is our right.

The number of times I saw Giulia Jones-branded vehicles breaking road rules (speed limits, etc) in the lead-up to the election was astounding!

You’d think if you’re driving any branded vehicle you’d want to obey the road rules, in order to give a good impression of the brand. And, you know, not break laws…

If I drove a car with my name and photo on it, i’d be making sure i was dead centre of every car park i was in! Although, maybe Giulia was trying to get some free publicitiy via the “Parking X Style” series of posts.

Bwahahahahahahaha……with a G…..

Why is it the smaller cars always seem to have the most trouble parking?
I constantly see small cars taking 3-4 attempts to fit into parking spots.
