Pegasus saved by Canberran kindness

Pegasus (formerly Pegasus Riding School for the Disabled) hit troubled times recently and looked like it might have to close its doors. However thanks to the formidable generousity of the Canberran community Pegasus shall ride on. They even got a giant cheque, which has always been a dream of mine.

A large portion of those funds was raised in an online auction hosted by local company Allbids.com.au of a kitchen supplied by Knebel Kitchens and donated by a MIX 106.3 listener. The auction raised $13,050.00 and added to the donations already made by the Tom Efkarpidis Foundation, Thoroughbred Park, Granite Transformations and Blackett Homes plus funds raised at the Black Opal Canberra Cup meeting and Rod & Biggzy’s Ride for Pegasus.

These funds have guaranteed that Pegasus will remain operating until at least December and allow in the meantime the organisation to develop further revenue streams and long term partnerships which will ensure its long-term future.

Great cause and well done. Sadly I’m forced to listen to these two at work, she is a mean spirited cow and he’s an overbearing idiot, one wonders how much they’d have raised if they had an listeners?

Sadly, I refuse to listen to those two but will give full marks to all concerned for the end result obtained particularly in light of any previous comments I may have made regarding this matter.
I still abhor horses but each to their own…

Is that one of the horses on the left?

No, it’s a person.

Is that one of the horses on the left?
