Performance times for the fountain

Can it be run at half speed, kind of like a megaripple

my other reaction to this is that spring, particularly, is a windy season and the winds pick up more in the arvo, so the chances of the fountain being a nice stream hurtling the lake into the sky and dropping it gracefully in a nice close parabola, as against being thrashed out into a meaningless swathe of sideways mist, are severely diminished by afternoon running times, as opposed to keeping the morning times, if only one or t’other were going to remain.

I do wonder of the the safety of inhaling the spray when the lake is algae blooming.
It can be hard to avoid.

My quality of life is now diminished.

But it used to operate 10am-12pm AND 2pm-4pm…so, it’s being cut back, is it?

Is this because of the drought? And this is just as daylight savings is beginning, and more people will be out and about in the mornings.

It is such a popular thing for visitors, especially from overseas, it seems wrong to reduce its working hours – it’s an icon of Canberra after all.
