Everything about this sh*tbag annoys me, every time you see him door-stopped he has that smug look on his reptilian mug, like he knows he is untouchable..Even Craig Thomson had the good sense to put on the rabbit in the headlights expression when the cameras confronted him.

I should add that I was actually speaking in the past tense about Hinze. Thankfully he’s no longer around to sue anybody.

That’s a proud declaration mate. A badge of honour. Peter SLipper, Russ Hinze and many many others just seem to be in it for whatever they can screw out of the public purse. Is it any wonder that most politicians are held in such low regard in this country?

This is hilarious because I was a taxi driver when studying back in the ’90s and Slipper tried to shaft me on a fare!

You wouldn’t be the first bloke Slipper has attempted to shaft…

…That’s good, that’s good! A nod’s as good as a wink to a blind bat!

Is that how you got the name RuffnReady?

That’s no crime.

The news today is that he was visiting wineries.

This is hilarious because I was a taxi driver when studying back in the ’90s and Slipper tried to shaft me on a fare!

I remember it was a weeknight, quite late, and I took him and two advisers to The Doghouse in Braddon (the fare was about $12), and they all got out without paying. I brought this to the attention of Mr Slipper and he said something like “it’s taken care of”. I replied that it wasn’t anything of the sort unless he actually paid me in some form (ie. using money or cabcharge), then he wasted about 15mins of my time calling some staffers who gave me a number to write down on a docket that he then signed (although getting him to sign it was very difficult).

Glad to see he’s going to get what he deserves.

slip dawg ….finally busted, I’m sure he will say I paid it back and will be told he is a nuaghty boy and
and get a spanking…I’m sure he will be happy with the outcome

Peter Slipper to face the Canberra Magistrates Court? Damn, he’s got away with it then!! I wonder how he swung that one?

Can you be charged for being stupid?

Nup, no law against that. Sometimes seems to be positively encouraged.

About time.

I hope they got the formal paperwork more accurate than the Media Release. A good defence lawyer could probably do something with them getting them name of the court wrong.

These are no small amounts of money either. The Sunshine Coast Daily has been on the hunt for him for years, and has covered many incidents where he has run up individual taxi trip bills in Canberra of several hundred dollars.

IMO Slipper has been milking public life for everything he can for far too many years. Only the unthinking elderly voters in “God’s waiting room” Caloundra, and the highly questionable local Liberal branch, have allowed him to continue when he should have been turfed a decade ago. Even the other local Liberal MP Alex Somlyay (a good bloke) can’t stand a bar of him.

Rorting of cabcharge dockets?
