Piercing in Canberra?

A lot of piercing parlours are closing or are closed at the moment. Adrenaline doesn’t do piercings anymore; Justin’s is closed; Tattoo power doesn’t do piercings anymore either.

Other than Steel Demon who I’d really not rather go to (Botched a piercing), Is there anywhere else other then Freestyle that people would recommend for piercings in ACT.

Looking for a VCH piercing and I don’t trust steel demon with that kind of piercing. Nothing against Freestyle, just want to get peoples opinion on where to go for a VCH.

I joined just to answer this. i have a VCH, it wasn’t done in Canberra though (it was actually done in Port Macquarie). from the research i did before i got mine done, Polymorph in Sydney are one of the best studios, and is closer than the melbourne studio suggested (nothing wrong with the piercing urge, just it’s a bit out of the way). it is a specialised piercing, and whilst nothing really should go wrong with it, it isn’t something that you really want to mess with.

It is a great piercing, it isn’t too painful to get, and heals really quickly. the all the naysayers (esp Stevian, it’s funny that. in Australia to get a genital piercing you must be over the age of 18, yet we continue to allow MGM in newborn boys) it isn’t as bad as it looks, and out of all genital piercings it is the least out there.

What is wrong with you guys?? A VCH is hot!!

Ms Casey would it be really wrong to ask that if I payed for the whole VCH piecing for you including transport there and back to the studio, would you let me watch the procedure? Actually yeah, that does sound really creepy!

Yeah that’s really creepy

Well, that’s what I love about the interweb. If you want to have a creep out moment you can do it with relative anonymity.

Seriously though %50 of my reason to watch a VCH being done is sheer curiosity at how they do such a thing without causing damage to such a sensitive organ. The other %50 would be of course sheer pervyness!

@matt31221

You are more than welcome to extend this offer if you haven’t found a weirdo to sate your curiosity…. I would love to have someone share the experience. And the expenses ???

Would this set off metal detectors at the airports, and then would security wave their hand-held detector around in front of it?

No, I can vouch that it will not set off airport security, or even the hand-held wand. I’v had a VCH piercing for over six years without any embarrassing incidents, and I pass through airport security on a daily basis. I think it’s because they are made of a pure metal, rather than alloy. Someone with better knowledge of these things might know.

Do you take your ring off top go through the metal detectors?

Hah, you just suggested that a voluntary and largely reversible modification performed by an adult to their own body for the enhancement of sexual pleasure is “the same kind of thing” as the forced removal of major parts of a young girl’s genitalia for religious and/or patriarchal sexual oppression..

Slavery to useless fashion, that we delude ourselves into imagining is a exercise of freewill, is far worse than honest oppression because it is far more insidious. Of course I fully understand that you are incapable of understanding such a concept

Wow. Stay classy!

Casey,

Ex girlfriend had it done.

To get one done you may need to head on down to Melbourne. There is a place called The Piercing Urge that she had it done

Tried everywhere in Canberra but nobody does them

(also ignore the comments above, it’s a pretty slick looking once done!)

Cheers

Makes ‘it’ easier to find?

It’s alright, you can say it, it’s not going to hurt you. Vagina.

No, I meant the clitoris.

Clitorial hood maybe.

Can’t believe all the boring old public servants in this thread. Spraying tea all over their readers’ digest at the thought of something so scandalous as a tiny bit of metal in a tiny bit of flesh.

Actually i dropped my monocle and top hat too 🙁 It’s not exactly the classiest item of jewellery around

I was going to say I had a holepunch to lend you, but then I also googled it.. Why you would want to get that done is beyond any sensible belief. I’m guessing it’s not going to be there still when you’re 80 years old, so why bother?

So it’s only sensible to do something if it’s going to be permanent? That’s pretty strange. If I had a daughter i’d rather she get a piercing than a tattoo. At least she can easily remove the piercing if she wants.

Kick yourself in the head as hard as you can.

Oh dear god NO!

I sat on a bus a few years ago near two 65-year-old ladies who had old tatts. Somehow I think old piercings on old ladies will look just as awful.

I had to google it too. Please Miss Casey, don’t do that to yourself.

I wondered what VCH was, so googled it. Now I know…

I had to check what VHC meant, and now wish I hadn’t.

I’d reccomend Freestyle, cant say I’ve had anything like that done, but every time I’ve been there, its clean, professional.. etc
