A Domino’s Pizza employee was robbed on the way to deliver an order in Giralang yesterday (Monday, 8 January).

ACT Policing said that at about 4.20 pm the employee went to Balamara Street when he was grabbed from behind in a choke hold by a male, who demanded money.

The male took the employee’s money and a second male removed the order of pizzas and other items.

The two males then fled on foot in a south-easterly direction, heading down the green belt on the western side of the Giralang soccer grounds.

Both males are described as about 15-30 years old, about 170 centimetres tall, of slim build and wearing dark clothing.

Police urge anyone with information, or anyone who observes an abandoned Domino’s Pizza delivery bag in the vicinity of Balamara Street, to contact police on 131 444, or to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
