PLEASE HELP! LOST FERRET IN NARRABUNDAH AREA

Hi Everyone

I registered with Riot Act because I need help finding the cutest young ferret who managed to sneak out of the house this evening.

She is a very tiny 7 months old black eyed ferret with a white coat and a silver tail. Still has her baby coat, and has a bald patch on her tummy from when she had surgery last month. She is very very friendly and likes cuddles.

I know there don’t have a very high chance of finding her alive but any information would be hugely appreciated. Please call Ferret Society of Canberra on 0428 7466 20.

We found Yuki a few houses down the road from us. She was cold, shaken and a bit scared, but everything is fine now and she has started growing a healthy winter coat. An elderly couple took her in as she was friendly and were thinking about giving her to their grandchildren before we turned up at their doorstep on our mission to find her. Thanks heaps for the support though!

I feel for your loss. I would suggest that you tell us where in Narrabundah the ferret went missing from. Like from which street, and if it is a long street, the nearest crossroad. Narrabundah is a big suburb. Some people like me, with time on my hands and weight to lose, go riding on the week end. I’m happy to go riding around where this small animal may be and will be happy to keep an eye out it. I don’t plan on riding all around the suburb though.

Good luck. I had an escapee in Theodore a few years ago. He was found a few doors down from me and taken to a house on the other side of the suburb. I suspect the only reason I was called to collect him (after two weeks) is because he was a very agro ex-hunter.

If she is friendly, she most likely has a new owner =(
