Missing male cockatiel:

He went missing on Friday (2nd September, 2011) in Ginninderra Ridge, Dunlop at around 4pm. He responds to the name “Tweety” and will come if you call him using a high pitched voice. He is eight years old, very tame and has white feathers with red cheeks and a bright yellow crest. He also has a little black identification tag on this left foot. Tweety is very special to me and my family and we miss him very, very much.

If you have any information, please call me on: 0437 149 596

Or you can take him to your nearest vet. Kippax, Gungahlin, Hall and other local vets have already been contacted by us.

I just want my little boy home safe, he is greatly missed.

Thank you – Amber.

Really hope that this turns okay for you. Pets have that special quality!

Oh, that’s sad. I really hope he turns up soon.

I once found a tame budgie in the neighbour’s front yard. He flew onto my finger when I approached him and talked to him. I put up a note at the local shops and he was returned to his very relieved owners the next day.

good luck…I hope you find him, I am in Dunlop too and have a cockatiel…they are special pets

Lost my bird some years ago. Did put an ad in the Canberra Times, and a few days later a woman rang who had a Cockatiel on her bird feeder every day, she said. After spending almost 2 days in the woman’s garden, we eventually caught the bird again. Good luck!
