Police investigating Ainslie death

ACT Policing is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an elderly woman in Ainslie on July 14 2013.

On Sunday July 14, police attended the Ainslie residence of the 91-year-old woman after concerns were raised for her welfare. Police gained entry to the premises and located the woman deceased. On 17 July, a Post Mortem ruled that the death was not suspicious.

Recent information provided to ACT Policing has led to further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.

These investigations are ongoing and no further information can be provided at this time.
