Police investigating body in creek

ACT Policing is responding to a report of a body in a creek in Symonston.

About 2.15pm today (Sunday, October 19) four men who were fishing located what appears to be a body.

Police were called and are currently at the scene at Jerrabomberra Creek.

Enquiries are continuing.

UPDATE 6.32pm – Body identified; not human remains. ACT Policing has identified the body that was located in the creek earlier today (Sunday, October 19). AFP Forensics Services attended and removed a tarp which was concealing the body, locating a deceased pig.

UPDATE – ACT Policing has identified the body that was located in the creek earlier today (Sunday, October 19). AFP Forensics Services attended and removed a tarp which was concealing the body, locating a deceased pig.
