Swinger Hill shops robbery CCTV

ACT Policing is seeking to identify the offender in an aggravated robbery at the Swinger Hill shops on Saturday, 28 August 2021.

Investigations are continuing and police believe there are members of the public who know the person responsible for this incident.

In a further effort to identify the man, police have released CCTV footage of the robbery.

About 10:50 am, the man entered the IGA X-press store at the Swinger Hill shops and allegedly threatened staff with a knife.

A short time later, a maroon-coloured sedan was captured on camera being driven at speed from the rear of the shops in the direction of Yamba Drive.

The man was described as Caucasian in appearance, of medium build about 185 cm (6’1”) tall, wearing navy work style pants, green jacket with a yellow high visibility shirt underneath, black and white sneakers, black beanie and a blue medical mask.

The maroon-coloured sedan had NSW number plates and red ‘P’ plates attached.
