Police search river for missing man

ACT Policing is continuing to search for a man whose car was found at the Uriarra East Recreation Area car park, 30 km west of Canberra, on Thursday (15 July).

With help from the ACT State Emergency Service, ACT Policing has completed a ground search of the area without success.

AFP Maritime Divers and Search and Rescue have continued to search the Murrumbidgee River as it is believed the man may have entered the fast-running waters.

The man is believed to be David Turner, who lost his wife and two family members when a ride at Dreamworld malfunctioned in 2016.

The family has requested privacy at this time.
