Police seek footage after Kingston foreshore stabbing

Police are hoping video footage from mobile phones, dash-cams or CCTV may help shed some light on a stabbing at Kingston over the weekend.

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the incident early on Saturday evening, 5 March 2022, in which a man was stabbed several times.

About 5:45 pm on Saturday, an altercation occurred between several men near a licenced premises on the Kingston Foreshore, and continued onto Eastlake Parade, where the stabbing took place.

The man was taken to hospital by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics for treatment to his wounds.

Police have identified dozens of witnesses; however, anyone who witnessed the incident who has not yet spoken to police is urged to come forward.

Anyone with video footage, including from mobile phones, dash-cams, or CCTV, or who has information about the people involved is also urged to ACT Policing Criminal Investigations.
