Police seek witnesses to alleged assault on security guard in Braddon pub

ACT Police are on the hunt for witnesses, after two men allegedly assaulted a security guard inside a pub in the early hours of this morning.

A spokesperson for ACT Policing said police were called to a pub on Lonsdale Street Braddon about 1:10 am Sunday, 7 January, following reports of two patrons allegedly assaulting a security guard.

Two men involved in the alleged assault have been identified and are assisting police with enquiries.

Police have already spoken to some witnesses, however, they urge anyone else who witnessed the incident and who have not yet spoken to police to come forward.
