Police statement on The London Raid

Criminal Investigations detectives executed a search warrant in the city yesterday (Thursday, October 27).

Around 11.00am, detectives from the Organised Crime and Crime Targeting Team executed a search warrant at a business premises on London Circuit in the city.

Several items, including computer equipment were seized for examination.

Police will continue to conduct enquiries in relation to this matter.

Detectives work in both those all those teams Einsteins. Detective is a title, not an area where people work. I think Crime Targeting Team is a very apt name considering what they do. What’s your suggestion? Something mauve and sensitive?

ACT Detectives RESPOND to serious crimes in the ACT. The Crime Targeting Team is a team of Detectives that, wait for it, TARGET CRIME, property crime in particular. This means targeting known recidivist offenders, particularly burglars etc…
