Police want to know about the UC fire

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a fire at the University of Canberra last night (January 6).

Around 9.10pm, police attended the student accommodation unit, where ACT Fire and Rescue had extinguished a couch which had been set alight. Police are treating the fire as suspicious.

Police are urging anyone who observed suspicious activity in the vicinity of University of Canberra residences or Arscott House between 8.30pm and 8.50pm to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the website www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
