1. Weapons and not much drugs:

ACT Policing intercepted and arrested two men around 6pm last night (Thursday July 9) at a Tuggeranong service station. Police then executed a search warrant on a Gordon residence.

One of the men, a 22-year-old from Gordon, was found to be in possession of a knife and a can of pepper spray. He will face weapons charges and was found to be in breach of his bail conditions.

The second man, a 24-year-old from Gordon, was found to be in possession of a police-type baton, a substance suspected to be amphetamines, and drug-related materials. He was charged with possessing a drug of dependence and possessing a prohibited weapon.

Both men will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (July 10).

Compared to 40 plants found yesterday.. it’s not much today.. well, that’s what I took from it. I could be wrong, happens!

Not much drugs? How do you figure that from the press release, Johnboy? I’m not saying you’re wrong, mind you…
